Robert was born in 1839. He was the son of John Landrum and Marth Page. He is listed with his parents on both: the 1850 Census[1] and the 1860 Census[2] in Barren, Kentucky. On August 30, 1866 he married Martha G. Fisher.[3] The couple are listed together on both: the 1870 Census[4] and the 1880 Census.[5] Census records indicate that they had at least six children. According to the Kentucky Confederate Pension Application[6] filed by his wife on May 6, 1912 and approved on June 7, 1912; he passed away on September 29, 1887 in Barren County, Kentucky and was a veteran that served in Company A of the 4th Mounted Infantry of the Kentucky Regiment.[7]
