Marie Josephe was born about 1742, based on her placement in the family. She is the daughter of Pierre Landry and Anne Marie Doucet. [1]
She married Simon LeBlanc (his first marriage) in about 1759 and they had two children before she died before November 9, 1767 when Simon remarried to Anne Arseneau.
They were found on the Maryland census of July 7, 1763 with their first son Paul, age 3.[2]
Since the ships going to Maryland left Acadie in 1755, It is likely that she went with her family, as she would have been only 13. Thus she would have married Simon while in Maryland, and had their first son there.
No information found yet for her death location, though Karen Theriot Reader gives it in Louisiana. If her second son was born in 1766, it is possible they had already made their way to Louisiana. Simon remarried in Louisiana in November 1767.(Bourque-573 16:10, 14 December 2021 (UTC))
