Biography

Dr. Benjamin Franklin Lane was born on February 22, 1818, in Edgefield, South Carolina. On December 23, 1841, Benjamin married Elizabeth Ann Sears in Autauga County, Alabama and together they had the following son:

  1. Augustus George (Gus) Lane (1849-1923).

He married second Malvina M. Dyer.

Dr. Benjamin Lane died September 2, 1891 in Bosque County, Texas.
