Biography
Rufus Lane was born on February 03, 1788 in Hingham, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. His parents were Rufus Lane and Hannah Marsh.[1]
He married first Abigail Hersey on December 15, 1811.[1]
Rufus married secondly to Elizabeth Lincoln.[1]
"Painter."[1]
Later, he was engaged in navigation, and dealer in fishermen's outfits. He was with the frim of R. & C. Lane.[1]
He was selectman for several years in Hingham.[1]
He lived on South Street in Hingham, near Thaxter's Bridge.[1]
He died on May 24, 1863 in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States.[1]
