Hannah was born about 1838. She passed away in 1909, aged 70. [1]
Hannah was born in April 1839, at Ouse Tasmania. She was the daughter of James Lane and Mary Leary. (1)
Hannah was baptised the same day at the Back River Church, along with her older sister, Sarah.
On the 10th July 1856, at River Ouse. Hannah Lane (18) married George Kitchin (22). They were married at St John the Baptist, witnesses being Jessie Lane & George Eyles. (2)
They had 4 children:
Sarah Ann Kitchin (1857 - 1884)
George James Kitchin (1861 - 1905)
Julia Annie Kitchin (1869 - ????)
Herbert Edwin Kitchin (1872 - 1966)
Records show that they continued to live in the Ouse district of Tasmania. In 1909, at her late residence, Lachlan Hotel, Ouse, Hannah Kitchin passed away, aged 70 yo. (3)
She was buried a few days later at the Ouse cemetery.
