Daniel Lane was born on 24 Feb 1910 in Fort Fairfield, Aroostook, Maine, United States^[1][2]

In the 1920 census Daniel (age 9) was the single son of Aubrey Lane in Topsfield, Washington, Maine. ^[4][5]

Daniel married Irene Lydia Hunnewell (born in Topsfield, Washington, Maine on 25 Feb 1914; died in Bangor, Penobscot, Maine on 20 Feb 2001) on 10 Apr 1934 in Topsfield.^[6]

In the 1940 census Daniel (age 30), Laborer, was the single son of Aubrey D Lane in Topsfield Plantation, Washington, Maine.^[7]

Daniel married Viola May Neumann (born in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut, United States on 10 Feb 1921; died on 11 Oct 2012)
