Biography
Annie Maria Lane was born in Amersham, Buckinghamshire in the fourth quarter of 1893. [1] She was the daughter of Charles Lane, an agricultural labourer, and Rebecca Slade, a straw plaiter, the youngest of their ten children.
In 1920 she married Frank Underwood. [2]
