All records are in Tennessee. Maiden name unknown. Nothing is being shown as proof of maiden name. Lane is simply a theory based on giving that name to a son as a middle name.
It appears that the name Wilkins arises from conflating the wife of a Joshua Draper who resided in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1840 (see image 188 of 229, line 2 of that census at FamilySearch.org) , with the wife of a joshua Draper who resided in Smith, Tennessee in 1840 (see image 64 of 194, line 21 of that census at FamilySearch.org). That part of Smith, Tennessee was divided and became Macon, Tennessee in 1843. Due to multiple fires at the courthouse in Macon, few records kept only at the courthouse survived. The 1850 census of Macon, Tennessee lists her husbands age as 70 and his birth state as Virginia and his wife's (Nancy, age 60) birth state as Maine? (see image 91 of 144, lines 29 & 30 of that census at FamilySearch.org).
A Nancy Lane was born 19 Mar 1790 in Leeds, Androscoggin, Maine to parents Daniel Lane and Eunice (as reported in Maine Births and Christenings 1739-1900 (browsable film images of film 007595728 available by searching Nancy Lane residing in Maine 1790-1800 at FamilySearch.org.
Listed as age 60 in 1850, born in ME. The writing here is not the best. The place may be being misread. It looks like Me., but it could be something else. Maine didn't actually become a state until 1820. Prior to that it was a District in Massachusetts. It would be unusual for an New Englander to marry a Virginian.
Two couples named Joshua and Nancy Draper are being conflated. One stays in Tennessee, the other goes to Alabama. Care needs to be taken to keep these frequently conflated identities separate.
There was a Nancy Wilkins and Joshua Draper that moved to Alabama, and there was a Nancy Lane that was married to a Joshua Draper and lived in Macon County, TN. The latter family never moved to Alabama. Their family moved to Illinois and Missouri.

The conflict in birth dates for Martha and Daniel should be addressed as well.
