Ila Lane was born in Upshur County, WV on January 2nd, 1882, the twin sister of Matthew Edward Lane.
Death and Burial
She passed away in 1882, in Upshur County, WV. [2]The death was of an unknown cause, as was the same with many infants in that day and age (1880's).
Ila Lane was a newborn when she passed away in 1882, cause of death was unknown.
I haven't been able to find a burial location or burial record. There are 5 infants buried in the Lane Cemetery, at the old Lane family farm, it's likely she was one of the five buried there.

---Note dated: 2/21/23C Lane---
On indexed birth record, DOB: 2 January 1882 (FamilySearch Record: F1YG-18B). This conflicts with the information on the death record image. According to the death records DOD: 7 February 1882, AGE: 6 days old, (FamilySearch Record: NM5H-HPF, FamilySearch Record: NMK5-PXZ). I have double checked the images also. Her twin, Edward's birth day is also Jan 2nd, so I'm assuming age at death was the record keepers error. It should be AGE: 1m, 5d. I'm going to use the dates and mark it uncertain, and assume the record keeper got the age wrong.
