- Mary Lula Lane was born December 27, 1872 in Arkansas, United States. She is the grandmother of first lady Laura Bush (Laura Lane Welch). [1] [2] She married Mark Anthony Welch January 16, 1910 in Pontotoc, Oklahoma, United States. She died January 6, 1956 in Lubbock, Texas
Marie was born in 1873. She was the daughter of Doctor Lane and Emily Holloway. She passed away in 1956.
