Agnes Lane was born on January 25, 1767, in Virginia, her father, William Lane (1740-1828) and her mother, Blue Sky Mary Cornstalk Shawnee Metis (1748-1775). She married Benjamin Kimzey about 1781,Henry, Virginin . She then married Joseph P Long on December 14, 1813, in Bedford, Tennessee. She died in 1855 in Duck River, Tennessee and was buried in Kimzey Cemetery, Bedford County, Tennessee.

She married Benjamin Kimzey. Benjamin died about 1808 in Buncombe County, North Carolina.[1]
She married Joseph Long on 14 Dec. 1814 at Buncombe County, North Carolina.[1]
After about six years, Agnes married Joseph Long on 14 Dec 1814 Buncombe Co, NC. Then she and some of her children along with some of her new husbands children moved to Tn. And some of her children moved on to Missouri. On their trip to Tennessee, the Kimzey bible was dropped in the river, so the Kimzey information was rewritten into the Joseph Long Bible.
Agnes died between 1850 and 1860, she was 85 years of age and living with her daughter Nancy Daniel in the 1850 census. She was buried at Kimzey Cemetery, Bedford County, Tennessee. Her memorial has extensive family history and links to those of family members.[1]
