Obituary
Mr. Freddie Glover Lane Jr. a resident of Dothan, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007. He was 83.
A private family service will be Sunday, Jan. 21, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Singletary officiating.
Mr. Lane was born Jan. 21, 1923, in Miller County, Ga., the son of the late Freddie Glover Lane Sr. and Pryor Lou Sheffield Lane. He was a manager at Solomon Chevrolet for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Botts, and a son, Robert Lane.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ann Lane, of Dothan; son, Jeff Lane, and his wife, Debbie, of Dothan; grandchild, Toni Whaley, who they helped raise; grandchildren, Mike Warren, Holly Estes, Tabitha Roy, Christopher Lane; ten great-grandchildren.
