Charles was born in 1859. He was the son of Thomas Lane.
He married Scytha Samantha Bullock. They were mentioned in the birth record of their daughter, Alty Elvira Lane, 26 Oct 1885, in Butler County, Missouri[1]
In 1900, they were living in Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri.[2] There were three children at home - Laura, Alta, and Thomas. They were still in Poplar Bluff in 1910, but only Thomas was at home. Scytha's mother, Catherine J Bullock, was living with them.[3]
He passed away in 1918. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri.[4]
