Sackville Walter is not interred in the Lane-Fox family plot at All Saints Church Bramham. Due to his relationship with Susannah Charlotte Olding his legitimate son Sackville George refused to allow him to be interred in the family plot, where his wife Charlotte Mary Anne Georgina is interred. He is interred in an unmarked grave in St Luke's churchyard Clifford.

Sackville George also challenged his fathers will, unsuccessfully.

Sackville Walter Lane- Fox did not marry Susannah Charlotte Olding. After the death of his wife Charlotte Mary Ann Georgina, Sackville Walter entered into a relationship with Susannah Charlotte which lasted until his death in 1874.

There are no records for either of them or their daughters from 1861 until 1874 when they lived in France.
