Biography
Olen was born on12 Jan 1876, according to his WWI draft registration.
Whether Olen had a brief affair with Alice, his wife's sister, or whether he forced himself on her, the facts have been lost. Alice became pregnant however, and gave birth to Walter, who was raised by Alice's parents and given the Pollard last name.
