Barb, well I thought I had it right. Is it your impression, belief, whatever, that Michel Laine is the father of both Theophile Laliberte Laney b. 1844-1928 and Harmenegilde (Major) Laliberte Laney, b 1853 - d 1917. , I followed what my friend gave me, as far as the beginning of her Laney line. Her dad was Robert Michael Laney II, (b. 1960 - 2015), his father was Robert Winfield Laney b. 1928 - d. 2009, who is the son of Robert Michael Laney Sr.. At first, I thought Harmenegilde (Major),the father of Perley Jewett Laney, was the great, great grandfather of Mike Laney, my friends Dad. Her whole family is such a mess. We talk constantly about who married who and whose child belongs to which family. But, I see you have the dates for Theophile to be those of Perley's father. I have never seen a Norris Napoleon Laliberte Laney. But with out the Norris, I have seen it. I probably sound like I've lost my mind. All of this is beginning to drive me slightly crazy!
