Neil was born in Hobart 1893[3]

Neil Died in Sydney (1967 531/1967 Langdon Nield George Herbert Mary Josephine Sydney) 1967[4]

(numismatist) coin collecter[5] [6] Neil used to work as a brickie for my Dad. He was a kind man who gave me a collection of stamps (largely Tasmanian). He worked with Dad at 26 Woodland St., laying the face bricks and the stone front fence. [1]

[1] 40 Battalion (Neil was in the 2nd Reinforcement From Hobart, Tasmania on board HMAT A70 Ballarat on 8 August 1916)

[2] The HMAT A70 Ballarat weighed 11,120 tons with an average cruise speed of 14 knots or 25.92 kmph. It was owned by the P & O SN Co, London. The Ballarat was torpedoed by a submarine in the English Channel, 25 April 1917 and sank the next day.
