Rebecca Story and Thomas Hall are part of my family tree, so I have traced Rebecca back to what seems to be her parents: Thomas Story and Mary Hill Langdon. My questions is with Mary Langdon's birth date of 1700 in relation to her first born child: Sarah who was born in 1710 (when Mary was 10???) along with not marrying Thomas Story until 1729. Something seems wrong with these dates - either
1) Mary's birth date is incorrect and she was born earlier;
2) Sarah's birth date is incorrect;
3) the marriage date is incorrect - as Sarah and Thomas were both born before the marriage; or
all the information is incorrect.
Can anyone provide clarification on the dates? the only documentation I have been able to find is Thomas Story's will from 1774 probated 1777 listing everyone but no other dates. Any help is appreciated.
