Biography

Catharina was born in January 1732 to parents Hinrich and Anna Lange. She was baptised on 26 January 1732.

In 1760-61, Catharina married the recently widowed Hans Hanss Hiestermann (his first wife Magdalena Lange, died on 25 March 1760 leaving seven children). The children of Catharina and Hans are:

1. Anna Ilse, born 1761; died 1763;

2. Elisabeth Dorothee Anna, born 1762 - 1838, married WINTERHOFF, died 1838;

3. Catharina Maria, born 1765, married RABE, died 1785;

4. Anna Ilse, born 1767, married RABE, died 1846;

5. Ilse Magdalena 1769 - 1804, married Johann Peter RABE;

6. Carsten. born 1773, died 1832.

Catharina died on 22 August 1789 at the age of 57 years, in Hiester, Herrmansburg, Celle, Nedersaken.
