Birth
When Johann Martin Christian (Christoph) Fredrich Lange was born on October 24, 1827, in Wotenitz, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, his father, Johann, was 26 and his mother, Katharine, was 31
Naturalisation
He became a New Zealand citizen.[1]
Death
He died in 1866 in Nelson, New Zealand, at the age of 39.[2]
John was born about 1835. He passed away about 1866.

- Known as Christopher Lange. No death found under full name but births of his children under various names indicate he had a variety of names - most likely this death 1866/6271 Lange John 31Y - buried in Ranzauk cemetery in Nelson.
Last child born to him and his wife was 1860 - he didn't die until 1866 I believe, maybe jailed? She went on to have children in 1874
