Biography

..."Dr Mark Gregory Langenfeld was born 27 February 1945 in Fond du Lac, a son of Dr. Gregory and Margaret Karn Langenfeld. He married Jane Musial in May of 1969. After graduating from Mayville High School in 1962, he received his pre-medical degree from Notre Dame University and then graduated from Marquette University School of Medicine in 1970. He interned at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Illinois, and served as a physician in the U.S. Army Medical Corps from 1971 to 1973 where he taught corpsmen in advanced procedures. In 1975 he joined the staff of Waukesha Memorial Hospital and was an emergency medicine physician. At the hospital, he served on the pharmacy and therapeutics committee, the in-hospital services policy committee and the ER/OP committee. He was a medical director of the Waukesha Fire Department paramedics. In 1985, he was named a fellow with the American College of Emergency Physicians and a Zeit fellow with the Medical College of Wisconsin..
