Biography
Sarah was born in 1802, the daughter of William Langford and Elizabeth Watmough. [1]
She died in 1835. [2]
Sarah was thought to be the illegitimate daughter of Frances / Fanny Langford following research into the registers by a church warden when the registers were still in the church. Looking at the Ancestry images, it appears that that this Sarah died a few days after she was born so this attribution was incorrect.
The only other suitable baptism in the area is that of a daughter to a William and Elizabeth Langford in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Whilst William married in Chesterfield, he is living in Shirland in 1841, next door to son in law Joseph Holmes. William appears to be the brother of Frances / Fanny Langford
