Ellen married on 31th of October 1932 in Joggins Mines, to Joseph Trask. They had two sons and two daughters, plus one infant deceased male son.
She passed away on 17th of December 1983 in the Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst.[1]. Ellen and her husband are buried in River Hebert Cemetery, River Hebert, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada.

LEGERE, JOSEPHINE A.- The death of Mrs. Josephine Agnes Legere, of Carmarthen Street, Saint John, wife of the late Lawrence Legere, occurred on Friday, July 4, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Maccan, NS, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy D. (Smith) Langille. She is survived by three sons, Larry (Rosemary) of Kiersteadville, NB, Alfred of Saint John and Jim (Jeannine) of Saint John, three daughters, Frances Hunter (Bill) of Winnipeg, MN, Carol Knudson (Don) of Saint John and Lori Lee Hall (Ross) of Musquash, four sisters, Kay Johnson of Maces Bay, Lucy Nelson of Amherst, NS, Ruby Comeau of Springhill, NS and Dorothy Glenwright of Saulte St. Marie, thirteen grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Vernon Langille, and sisters, Ellen Trash and Ada Basquelle. By request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, on Saturday, July 6, 2002 at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
