Biography
Jean Louis was the son of David Langille and his third wife Marie Catherine Bezanson.[1] He moved to River John, Nova Scotia, with his brothers David, Frederic and George in 1792 when the forests between River John and Pictou were the subsistence hunting territory of Captain Toney's band of Mi'kmaq.[2]
