Avenant Abner Langley (child of Francois/Marie Eliza Vidrine) was born on 14 April 1881. He married Virginia Pitre on 19 December 1899 in Jennings, Calcasieu Parish, LA. He died on 20 March 1965 in Jefferson Davis Parish, LA[1]
There is a conflict on birth date where most records indicate Abner was born 16 Apr 1881, although the headstone states 14 Apr 1881.
Also, if Avenant and/or Abner actually married Virginia Pitre, as is shown in the 1900 Census below, then his parents were Leon Langley and Sidalese Manuel, not Francois Langley and Marie Eliza. If confirmed that Francois was his father, then he did not marry Virginia. Unable to find another 1900 Census to contradict the one found.
