Agatha Amelia Langley was born on March 29, 1855 in Calcasieu, Louisiana, United States, daughter of John Langley (~1830–~1912) and Gertrude Causanwell (c.1830- 1868).
In 1870, Agatha (15) was living in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana with her recently remarried, widowed father, her new stepmother, and their blended family, including the young man she would marry in 1874.[1]
In 1880, Agatha, Edmond, and their first three children were living in Lake Charles, Calcasieu, Louisiana.[3]
Agatha died on September 11, 1935 in Jefferson Davis, Louisiana, aged 80, and her father and mother's names are on her death record.[4]
She was buried at LeBleu Cemetery in Fenton, Louisiana[5]
