Pierre Hemère Langlois was born on 28 Sep 1860 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Lambert de Lauzon.parish in Lévis, Canada-Est. He was the son of Édouard Langlois, farmer, and Cédulie Paradis of this parish. Sponsors at Pierre's baptism were Pierre Lacasse and Marie Paradis; neither sponsor signed the register.
