Biography
Catherine Langlois was born in 1724 in Ile Madame, Colony of Nova Scotia, daughter of François Langlois (about 1680–after 1762) and Madelaine Comeau (about 1687–1755).
Catherine (24) and Jean Baptiste Bénard (26) were married in 1749 in Port Toulouse, Isle Royale, Acadie. Jean was born in 1722 in Port-Toulouse, Île Royale, Acadie, Nouvelle-France. Their children were:
- Madeleine Bénard (about 1750– )
- Marie Bénard (about 1752– )
- Jean Pierre Bénard (about 1753– )
- Jean Louis Bénard (1757– )
- Marie Susanne Bénard (about 1761– )
Catherine (38) and Jean Barrieau (31) were married about 1763. Jean was born on December 7, 1731 in Grand Pré, Acadia, New France. No children are documented for this marriage.
Catherine died on March 14, 1765 in Sinnamary, Guyane-francaise, France, aged 40.
