Catherine Langlois was born in 1724 in Ile Madame, Colony of Nova Scotia, daughter of François Langlois (about 1680–after 1762) and Madelaine Comeau (about 1687–1755).

Catherine (38) and Jean Barrieau (31) were married about 1763. Jean was born on December 7, 1731 in Grand Pré, Acadia, New France. No children are documented for this marriage.
Catherine died on March 14, 1765 in Sinnamary, Guyane-francaise, France, aged 40.
