Researching the Cassidy branch of the family from the Kilbrogan, Bandon, County Cork. My Paternal Grandmother's maternal branch. My father's cousin added many of these profiles to wikitree a few years ago would like to build them up a little
Much of what I do as a Data Doctor relates to improving profiles. Enjoy working with this group of people in building and improving profiles here on WikiTree, including the profiles in my tree as new information is found.
My Grandmothers side of the family. A lot of the family here on the tree thanks to my fathers cousin. Looking to add more branches to the family tree. There are Irish roots linked to the surname Cassidy I am following up
Janet Wild's DNA has been tested for genealogical purposes. It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Janet or other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Janet:
A million Janet, I love the profil you have made the change for me, I will really study it and take some print, you have no idea how happy I am for the fantastic transformation you have made about Grith. You really are a wonderful treasure and I am so very grateful for you are taken time out to help me
Hello! I have several people added with references I hope are in the right format, but truthfully probably aren't. I want to be a helpful part of the community, so I want to do it right, but at there very least want to provide enough for others to look at and start tracking their own family. I love the idea of this project.
Thanks for the welcome and tidbits of help. I'm sure I'll be calling on you for more in-depth information as I get further into this program. I have FTM and Ancestry programs on the go as well. I've found that sources/citations are automatically brought into the Ancestry and FTM programs but this program you have to manually insert them yourself or am I doing something wrong? At any rate, thanks for the greeting. Ron
Thanks for checking in Janet! I'm still pretty unsure about putting references in correctly. I just made the first few members of my tree, and I've been using Ancestry and MyHeritage, as well as FamilySearch. But I've used a laptop program to speed up merging duplicates, then uploaded and replaced my old saved references, so I'm having to go back and save them again, to everyone. Didn't realize how time consuming that would be. Do you know much about MacFamily Tree and if I can get references from there to upload here?
Regarding my great grand uncle's murder trial records.
I pretty much have his biography written out and sourced. I just need to add his Family Search page, and there are three Grayson County Cemetery websites that source his headstone. I'm going to work on uploading his murder trial records next and working on that section of his biography. Thanks for your help! You're awesome!
