He married Sarah Buffalo. They were the parents of John, Jeremiah, Rhoda, Mary, Frances, [3]and Eliga.[4]
Caleb died at the age of about 33 in August 1877 in Izard County, Arkansas. He is buried at Spring Creek Cemetery in Izard County.[5]
