Isaac was born in 1819. He was the son of Ira Langworthy and Eleanor Twist.
He was married several times;
- 1st. 2 Jan 1842 Freelove Surdam, 1824-1853 w/children;
- Augusta Ann, b.1844, m.Charles Moseley
- Margaret Louisa, b.1850.
- 2nd. 11 Jul 1858 Eunice Synder, 1835-1862, w/children;
- Ruth Elizabeth, b.1859, m. George Smith
- Olive Mary, b.1861, m. Frank C. West
- 3rd. 6 Mar 1865 Eliza Earl 1833-1888, w/children;
