Robert M. Lanier, son of Hillery J. Lanier and Elizabeth (Bankston) Lanier, was born on 14 Oct 1815 at Louisiana, USA.
He married Aniese Elizabeth Baham, daughter of Jean Baptiste Baham and Mariana Raby, circa 1837 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.
He was a farmer when he and Aniese appeared on the census of 23 Aug. 1850 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[1] He was a farmer when he and Aniese appeared on the census of 24 Aug. 1870 at Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.[2] He appeared on the census of 4 July 1900 at Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.[3]
Robert died on 28 Sep. 1904 at age 88 and was buried at Lanier Cemetery, Independence, Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. His memorial has a photo of his headstone, biographical material and links to those of family members.[4]
