He married Maria Francisca "Frances" Baham, daughter of Jean Baptiste Baham and Mariana Raby, on 5 Jan. 1843 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[1]
He was a farmer when he and Frances appeared on the census of 23 Aug. 1850 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[2] He was a blacksmith when he and Frances appeared on the census of 9 Aug. 1860 at Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.[3]
He died in 1870, probably at Allen Parish, Louisiana, and was buried at Palestine Cemetery, Allen Parish, Louisiana. His memorial has biographical material and links to those of family members.[4]
