Patience (Lanphere) Crandall has English ancestors.

Patience Lanphear was born abt 1679, prob. at Westerley RI, the daughter of George Lanphear.^[1][2][3]

Patience married about 1702 to Eber Crandall, and they had the following children:^[1][3][4]

1. John, b. abt. 1703; m.1st Mary Crandall; m.2nd unk.
2. Eber, b. abt. 17O3; m. 10 Feb. 1732 Mary Long.
3. Samuel, b. abt. 1707; m. 14 Oct. 1731, Sarah Worden.
4. Joseph, b. abt. 1709; m. Edith Hiscox 2 May 1735.

Patience's date/place of death is unknown. It is thought that she died before 1710, when Eber remarried.^[1][3]
