Research Notes
I have been unable to find any additional information concerning Mary daughter of Samuel, born 13 Sep 1704 in Scituate Massachusetts.
These were added to the biography, both obviously wrong:
"She married David Cushing of Hingham 9 Nov 1826." with this reference: ' name=dwelley>Dwelley, J., & Hanover (Mass. : Town). (2000). A copy of the records of births, marriages and deaths and of intentions of marriage of the town of Hanover, Mass., 1727-1857: As recorded by the several town clerks for the said town of Hanover. p.144' That page states that the Mary Lapham who married David Cushing was born 8 Nov 1804 to Michael & (Sarah Cushing) Lapham."
or
"She married Allen Cushing of Hingham Nov 1822." with this reference: ' History of the Town of Hingham, Massachusetts (The Town of Hingham, Massachusetts, 1893) Vol II, p.423'. That page states that Lydia Lapham married Allen Cushing in Nov 1822, not Mary.
