No baptismal record has been linked to Antoine. He was an adult at his marriage 17 Jan 1829 and therefore was born before 18 Jan 1808. He was the son of Louis Lapointe and his wife Marie Angelique Lepage. He was likely born in what is now Québec but this cannot be proven. His siblings were baptized in all three forms of Audet, Lapointe, Audet dit Lapointe. Lapointe was chosen as this is the name used in most of the records for him and his children. [1]
No burial record has been identified for Antoine Lapointe in Québec parish records. His children all married and died in the US and it is likely that he died in the US.
