Samuel was a Friend (Quaker)

Samuel Large was born [1] 03 Aug 1686 in Almsbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts. Samuel is the son [2] of Joseph Large and Elizabeth.

"In 1733, Samuel Large , Samuel Willson , John Stevenson , Edward Rockhill and Joseph King act as trustees for four acres of land for the use of the meeting , which are deeded by Jacob Doughty ."[3]

"11 4 1754 . Samuel Large , Gershom Mott Junior and Robert Large are appointed to visit the families of Friends at Kingwood."[4]

I have given to my two sons, Jacob and Robert, deeds for all my lands. Wife, Elizabeth, all the residue. Executrix—my wife. Witnesses—Mary Emley, Rebecca Pritty, Robert Emley. 1767, Ang. 4. Large, Elizabeth, of Kingwood Twsp., Hunterdon Co.; will of. All my estate to be sold, except one case of drawers, which I give to Rebecca Kester. To my sister, Rebecca Pritt, £10. To Elizabeth Myers, daughter of William Myers, and to Elizabeth Price, daughter of my sister, Ann Price, to each £5. Sons-in-law, Jacob Large and Robert Large, the rest of my estate.
