Biography

Ernest John Larkin was born on 2 April 1885.

Background

He was the 4th and youngest son of James Heffernan Larkin and Kate Mary Josephine Coyle. His birth was registered on 26 May 1885 by his father (the informant) James Larkin, contractor, of Mount Eden, Auckland.

Death and burial

He was last seen by Dr Girdler on 10 March 1886. He died in infancy on 14 March 1886 of "exhaustion dentition" aged eleven and a half months. Death reg Auckland 294/1886.

He was buried on 16 March 1886 by Rev Father L Missel in Symonds Street Cemetery, Auckland.
