Biography
Catherine Larkin was born before 1834 in Dublin, Ireland.
She married James Edmiston in Mar 1857 in Glasgow [1].
Catherine came to New Zealand on the ship Gananoque into Auckland on 19 Oct 1861. Ships passenger list shows James Edmiston, wife and children (James, Catherine, Henry and Jessie). They had further children (six daughters) in New Zealand from 1861 to 1870.
She passed away in 1921 aged 87 years and is buried with her husband James in the Purewa Cemetery, Meadowbank, Auckland, New Zealand [2].
