Biography

In the first household record for Skinnskatteberg parish, started in 1663, we find Anders Larsson and his wife Lucia in Ställberget. They have at least three children. There is a note on the page that they were married 7 p Trin 1656 (20 July).^[1]

This is also where we find the marriage of Anders Larsson and Lucia Larsdotter in Ställberget in the ministerial book.^[2]

Lucia was widowed in 1679 - Anders Larsson in Ställberget was buried 9 February 1679.^[3]

5 February 1688 widow Lucia Larsdotter in Ställberget married hammersmith Erik Bengtsson from Ramsberg. Her young son Gabriel Andersson got married later the same year.^[4][5] So Lucia moved to Ramsberg and Gabriel took over in Ställberget.

Erik Bengtsson's wife Lucia Larsdotter in Grömsta Torp was buried 19 July 1703. She was 70 years old.^[6]

Research note

Lucia appears several times on the page for Ställberget, which seems to have been in use for many years from 1663. First there is Anders Larsson with wife Lucia, a shepherd boy Johan and Anders'es brother Nils and sister Karin. There is also a widow Ingeborg, who may be a sister of Luci, since an Ingeborg is referred to as the sister of Anders Larsson's wife when she appears as a christening witness for Brita in 1662.^[7]

Then there is goodwife Luci alone, followed by Mats Iversson with wife Anna (who may be a sister of Luci), both crossed out. Then three children of Anders and Luci: Brita, Kerstin and Gabriel; last a work hand Jacob Hansson.

On the righthand side of the page Luci appears a third time, in a listing where she directly follows the family of Anders'es brother Nils. There is goodwife Lucia with son Gabriel and daughter Brita with an unnamed husband; they are directly followed by the family of Lucia's deceased brother Olof.^[1]

Erich Bengtsson, a blind hammersmith in Grimsö, was buried 28 December 1705, 82 years old. ^[8]
