Biography
Karin (Katerine in the US) was born on June 18, 1852 in Rättvik, Stora Kopparberg, Sweden. She married worker August Andersson (b. 1852 in Skallsjö parish) ca 1875. They had three children born in Stockholm, Sweden: Erik Leonard b. 1878, Ida Katarina b. 1880 and Selma Emilia b. 1882.
The family lived in Katarina parish. They emigrated to America on July 3, 1883.[1]
They family lived in Stambourg in Iron, Michigan.
She passed away on November 21, 1931 in Stambaugh, Iron, Michigan.[2] She is buried in Stambaugh Cemetery, Block 3, Lot 256.[3]
