Biography

Obituary in the Ticonderoga Sentinel, Oct. 28, 1915 Mrs. Louisa Anderson died from neuralgia of the heart Wednesday morning, October 13th. She was apparently in her usual state of health on Tuesday, but during the evening she was seized with pains in the chest and, being alone in the house, called her neighbor, Mrs. A.W. Roscorla, by phone. Dr. Eaton was immediately summoned but all efforts to relieve her of the attack were unavailing and she passed away the (illegible) morning at five o'clock. Mrs. Anderson was (illegible) sixty-two years of age and was a native of G(illegible)enburg, Sweden. There she marriedRobert Anderson and two children, Albert and Annie, were born in that country. Later the family came to America and finally settled in Crown Point, where her husband died about fifteen years ago. Since that time Mrs. Anderson has lived the quiet life of a widowed mother whose children were her chief interest and who were equally devoted to her welfare. She was retiring and unassuming, but those to whom she was best known bear ample testimony to her good qualities as a woman, as a mother and as a neighbor, and her memory will be one of the things they will long cherish. The son, Albert, has a position of responsibility and trust with the Delaware & Hudson; the daughter, Miss Annie, is a successful school teacher.
