Stina Greta (Kristina Greta/Christina) Larsdotter was born on November 13, 1845 in Stensdråget croft under Mokvarn in Utvängstorp parish in Skaraborgs län, Sweden. She was the daughter of crofter Lars Larsson and his wife Kjerstin Larsdotter.[1][2]
She married August Andersson. They had three children born in Sweden: Johan Sanfrid (1874-1877), Karl Gustaf b. 1876 and Selma Elisabeth b. 1879.
The family lived in Vrågården in Valstad parish, Skaraborg 1874-1880.[3] They emigrated to the United States in 1880. They are noted in the household record as emigrated on April 17, 1880.[4]
