Biography

Anders, the son of day labourer Lars Persson in Främshyttan and his wife Lisa Andersdotter, was born 6 May 1789.^[1] He grew up with his parents.^[2] In 1807 he served for Lars Olsson in Godkärra.^[3]

In 1808 Anders Larsson was enrolled as soldier #68, Brun, for Långviken, replacing Henrik Brun, whohad been taken prisoner at Ueckermünde and died in captivity. Anders Brun lived in Alderkärret, where the soldier's croft for this rote district seems to have been. He was commanded out in the war in 1812; it is noted in the household record that he died on campaign.^[4]
