1930 US Census: William, 24, was a lodger on West 84th St. in New York City. He is a machinist, and he and his parents are b. OH.

1940 US Census: William, 34, b. OH, a supervisor at an adding machine company, lived at 3515 80th St. in Queens, New York City, with Alice (31, b. MA).

According to his death certificate (MA Deaths, 1976, vol. 79, p. 22), he was 70 yrs., 2 mos., and 24 days old when he died.
