Francois was born in Canada (per Census), probably after 1804 as his parents were married then. There are no baptism records for him in Drouin (Bourque-573 06:38, 14 January 2019 (UTC)). No records at all for anyone named Lashua. Possible last name Lajoie (still no records).

Residence in 1880 in Parishville, St. Lawrence, New York, age 75, was born in Canada about 1805.^[1]
