Reginald served as a trooper (army number 558431) in the Reconnaissance Corps. During WWII he was captured and held at Stalag XVIII-A (POW number 2581). He likely met his future wife at this time and they were married in England in 1947. They relocated to Australia the following year where they spent many years farming in various locations in South-East Queensland. Eventually they relocated to the Gold Coast where they enjoyed their retirement.
Reg passed away at the Gold Coast, Queensland in 1998. [1]
