Biography

William Latham (Jr. or II), son of William Latham and Elizabeth Barnes, was born about 1799, probably in or around Groton, Connecticut, though perhaps in Hebron, to which place his parents had removed by 1804 at the latest.[1][2]

William married Eunice Way Miner,[3] daughter of Elisha Miner, Jr. and Amy Way of New London, on 20 March 1821,[4] probably in New London.

William named his wife Eunice and all of his children by their first and middle names in his will, making Eunice executrix, dated 2 May 1841 in Gilead, witnessed by John C. Bowen (Eunice's brother-in-law), Peyton R. Gilbert, and Anna Gilbert (William's sister).[3]

William died 14 June 1841 in Hebron and he is buried in Gilead Cemetery, Hebron, Tolland, Connecticut.[1]
