Catharine was born in 1842, the daughter of John Latham (1794-) and Mary Ann Latham (1796-).
She married Eugene Brown (1843-1914). They had the following children:
Irving Eugene Brown (1863–1905).
Allison H. Brown (1864–1938).
Irene M. Brown (1866–1932).
Stanton Francis Brown (1873–1934).
She passed away in 1907. Buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
