Served in the American Revolution as Captain of a company of artillery, Col. John Bailey's regt. and in Gen. John Thomas's regt. and of the 7th company, Col. Thomas Crafts's (Artillery) regt. [1] [2]

Daniel (Lathrop) Lothrop was born on May 2, 1721 in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, son of Samuel Lathrop II and Abial (Lassell) Lathrop. [3]

Daniel married Rhoda Willis on April 19, 1744 in Bridgewater.

  2. Rhoda Lathrop, b. April 9, 1747.
